*Registered Nurse/ Licensed Practical Nurse*For over 35 years, Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services has been providing compassionate and dependable medical and non-medical home health care services throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Through our quality care, we help our clients with the medical, physical, and emotional strain that comes when home health care is needed the most. Preferred is currently hiring a clinical supervisor for our Harrisburg, PA office.*Requirements:* Valid RN License Physical within one year PPD or Chest X-Ray Valid Drivers License Valid CPR certification*Responsibilities:*1. Provides daily supervision of nurses and home health aides to ensure quality of service is within the required plan of care2. Initiates and reviews the clinical content, diagnoses, medical history, medications, and other statuses from client records3. Appraises staff performance during the probationary period and annually with the director of nursing, and provides the teaching and counseling necessary to enhance the delivery of services and the professional development of nursing and home health aide staff4. Identifies and evaluates client needs and appropriateness of home care by reviewing the initial intake screening form before assignment of direct care staff5. Assists with the orientation of new professional staff to familiarize them with policies and procedures6. Conducts client visits in the appropriate setting as needed7. Initiates in-home supervisory visits of clinical staff as needed8. Maintains confidentiality of medical records, personnel records, etc., within the scope of their position9. Participates in any required functions in the absence of, or request by, the director of nursing10. Works closely with the electronic medical record (EMR) to ensure client electronic charts are maintained, updated, and remain in compliance with company standards11. Understands details around the knowledge of clinical workflow as it pertains to the use of EMR12. Participates in formal and informal problem-solving processes to meet the EMR computer education needs and established outcomes for users13.
