We are a growing, increasingly fast-paced mixed animal veterinary clinic (we even see wildlife!) in Winchester, VA. We offer surgery, dentistry, and digital radiography, as well as ultrasound. We'd love to meet you - apply today!*Licensed Veterinary Technician Role Requirements** Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, or LVMT) or the ability to transfer credentials from state to state.* Associate degree in Veterinary Technology*Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities** Professional client communication and education obtaining medical histories and symptoms* Laboratory procedures including but not limited to: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, and fecals* Diagnostic imaging and implementing safety protocols of fellow staff members* Nursing skills including: restraining patients, administering medications PO/IV/SUBQ/IM, applying and maintaining bandages, proficient IV catheter placement and venipuncture, surgery prep, and anesthesia monitoring* Competently perform dental prophylaxis*Licensed Veterinary Technician Benefits** Work with Newsweek's #1 Ranked Healthcare Company in 2023* Professional Development Assistance - You have goals.
