Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our client near Red Lion, PA. In this long-term contract position, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting critical accounting operations. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment and ensure the smooth functioning of essential accounting processes. Responsibilities: • Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records. • Reconcile accounts receivable and outstanding purchase orders to ensure proper financial tracking. • Conduct month-end close activities, including trial balance preparation and financial reporting. • Create detailed month-end reports to support business decision-making. • Review and maintain the general ledger for accuracy and completeness. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. • Assist in preparing financial statements and other required reports. • Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial data. • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting operations and improve efficiency. • Proven experience in accounting, with a strong focus on journal entries and general ledger management. • Familiarity with accounts receivable processes and purchase order reconciliation. • Expertise in conducting month-end close activities, including preparing financial reports. • Ability to prepare and analyze trial balances and ensure accuracy in financial data. • Proficiency in financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to handle complex reconciliations. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
