We're seeking a Solder-Assembly Technician for our Exton, PA location. If you have strong soldering skills and enjoy working on high-quality electronic components, this role offers an opportunity to grow and cross-train in a collaborative environment. Schedule: 7am-3:30pm What you'll do /n - Perform precision soldering and de-soldering of SMT and through-hole components. /n - Assemble and inspect PCB assemblies per IPC-A-610 standards. /n - Operate and maintain soldering equipment, including soldering irons, hot air guns, and solder pots. /n - Work from drawings and process documentation to complete assemblies. /n - Operate SMT pick-and-place machines and prepare sub-assemblies for production. /n - Maintain accurate documentation and a clean work station. /n /nWhat you need Required: /n - High school diploma or equivalent /n - Experience with PCB assembly and soldering techniques /n - Ability to solder and de-solder SMT and through-hole components /n - Familiarity with ESD handling requirements and electronic components /n - Ability to work independently and as part of a team /n - Can perform repetitive tasks with attentiveness. /n - Must be able to effectively communicate and engage with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing. /n - Possesses intermediate computer skills including MS Office, Excel and Outlook. /n - Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees) /n /n Preferred: /n - IPC 610/620/JSTD certifications /n - Six to twenty-four (6-24) months of industrial experience or similar training is preferred. /n - 3 years of soldering/assembly experience /n /n Physical Requirements: /n - Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. /n - Some bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, mild lifting of 10 pounds or less. /n - Some assemblers are required to intermittently lift up to 50 pounds. /n /nWhat we offer /n - Competitive pay and comprehensive health benefits /n - 401(k) with company match and retirement plans /n - Paid time off and flexible work arrangements /n - Professional development and training opportunities /n - Employee wellness programs and assistance resources /n - A collaborative environment working on mission-critical technology /n /nWhat happens next Apply online through Teledyne's careers page.
