the firm and their clients. We are seeking an experience Tax
Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role you will play a
pivotal role in overseeing tax planning and preparation functions,
providing expert guidance to clients, and leading a team of
professionals. This role reports directly to the Partner. A Day in
the Life of a Tax Manager Oversee Multiple Tax Engagements: Manage
multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring quality and
efficiency. Strategic Tax Planning: Provide high-level tax
strategies and solutions for clients. Client Advisory & Business
Development: Strengthen client relationships and identify new
business opportunities. Final Review & Approval: Conduct final
reviews of complex tax returns before partner sign-off. Firm
Leadership & Development: Lead training initiatives and mentor tax
professionals across levels. Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure
compliance with tax laws and mitigate risks for clients and the
firm. Engagement Profitability & Growth: Optimize firm resources,
budgets, and profitability of tax services. Represent the Firm
Externally: Participate in networking events and professional
organizations to enhance the firm’s presence. Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax or Finance (or related
degree). Master’s in taxation a plus. Active CPA license required.
Minimum 6 years' blend of general and multi-state tax experience in
public accounting, with recent experience at the manager level.
Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review,
tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research.
Client-focused with the ability to employ a consultative and
client-focused approach. A demonstrated ability to self-direct and
effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple engagements
and tight deadlines. Ability to attract and develop profitable,
sustainable client relationships. Experience effectively managing
direct reports and proven ability to work effectively with all
