Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) invites
applications for an Office of Administration and Innovations Intern
to join our Office of Administration and Innovations department.
This position is a full-time, 40 hours per week, internship
opportunity based out of our regional office located in Washington,
D.C. with a hybrid work model. Please note, this position is

Internship Program. Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group is
comprised of more than 1,700 Permanente physicians and nearly 300
staff professionals who come together to make a positive impact on
the health and lives of more than 800,000 members in Virginia,
Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Reporting to the Executive
Consultant, the Office of Administration and Innovations Intern
will support high-impact initiatives related to consulting,
analytics, strategy, communications, and executive leadership
priorities. This role provides exposure to innovative healthcare
practices, organizational strategy, and strategic planning within a
large integrated healthcare organization. You will collaborate with
leadership and cross-functional teams to analyze data, conduct
research, and support the development of innovation-focused
proposals that improve healthcare delivery and operational
effectiveness You can expect to: Develop research summaries and
insights on healthcare industry trends and verticals to support
innovation and strategy initiatives. Prepare visually engaging
reports and presentations that support the development of
innovative proposals and leadership decision-making. Partner with
the Chief of Administration and Innovation and team members on
strategic projects aimed at improving value for patients,
providers, employees, and healthcare consumers. Provide analytical
support by evaluating patient feedback, survey results, market
research, and internal organizational data to identify actionable
insights. Lead or assist with translating research findings and
data analysis into strategic recommendations for organizational
leadership. Oversee or support the development and configuration of
the Innovations Backlog in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to enhance
tracking and prioritization of innovation initiatives. Administer
system automation support by building and maintaining Power
Automate flows and Copilot Studio agents to streamline processes
and integrations. What is required: Must be a current student
enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree program in Business,
Health Administration, Public Health, or a related field during the
duration of the internship; Recent college graduates are ineligible
for the internship program. Must be available to work full-time, 40
hours a week, for a minimum of 12 weeks. Previous experience in
consulting, analytics, healthcare operations, or strategic planning
is a plus. Interest or coursework related to healthcare strategy,
business analytics, innovation, or healthcare systems improvement.
Strong familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, including
Dynamics 365, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint, and Copilot
Studio. Exceptional attention to detail, strong written and verbal
communication skills, analytical thinking, and strong
problem-solving abilities. Ability to troubleshoot issues, identify
root causes, and implement effective solutions. Demonstrated
initiative, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced
work environment. Passion for improving healthcare delivery and
driving meaningful organizational change. Must be able to commute
to the Washington, D.C. regional office as needed. Candidates must
either currently live in or be willing to relocate to the

employment The starting hourly rate for this position ranges from
$20.00 to $25.00, which considers an applicant’s skills and
qualifications, certain degrees and prior job experience, training,
market data, and other relevant factors. Internships are non-exempt
