Job Description:
Description The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for creating
a welcoming, professional, and safe environment for members and
guests at Village Pickle in Leesburg, Virginia. Serving as the
primary point of contact, this role supports daily front desk and
pro shop operations while ensuring a positive customer experience.
Key responsibilities include providing general information about
the facility and its rules, supporting administrative and
scheduling functions, maintaining accurate records, and helping
sustain a safe, clean, and efficient front desk and pro shop area.
The Front Desk Attendant contributes to smooth daily operations by
delivering excellent customer service, supporting team members, and
upholding Village Pickle’s standards of professionalism and

professional environment. CUSTOMER SERVICE & GUEST RELATIONS 80%
Greet all visitors, members, and guests in a professional,
friendly, and timely manner Serve as the first point of contact,
ensuring a positive and welcoming experience Respond to customer
inquiries, concerns, and requests with accuracy and courtesy
Resolve basic issues or complaints and escalate complex matters as
needed FRONT DESK & ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT 10% Manage front desk
activities, including check-ins, check-outs, and payments Answer
and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and messages promptly
Schedule, confirm, modify, and manage court reservations and lesson
bookings using the scheduling system. Perform general
administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and document
handling Process payments, invoices, and receipts accurately and
securely in accordance with Village Pickle procedures.
COMMUNICATION & INFORMATION MANAGEMENT 10% Provide accurate
information regarding services, policies, and procedures
Communicate clearly and professionally in person, by phone, email
and all additional platforms Maintain confidentiality of customer
and company information Ensure accurate record-keeping and timely
updates in all systems OFFICE APPEARANCE, SAFETY & COMPLIANCE
ONGOING Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk
and lobby area Monitor visitor access and follow security and
safety procedures Ensure compliance with company policies, health,
and safety regulations Report maintenance or security concerns to
appropriate personnel Qualifications EXPERIENCE Must be at least 16
years of age Present a friendly, professional, and welcoming
demeanor at all times Work effectively and collaboratively with a
team Maintain a working understanding of the rules and how to play
pickleball Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail,
and follow-up Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Maintain various records, data, and systems to ensure accuracy of
all the information Must be able to professionally handle sensitive
information and maintain confidentiality Previous customer service
experience is preferred ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS Occasionally
exposed to outside weather conditions as well as warm inside
temperatures. Exposed to moderate to loud noises when working
outside or inside. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Spends frequent time
making repetitive motions as well as long periods sitting,
standing, walking, talking, and using your hands to handle, reach,
control, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Lifting up to 25lbs
with or without assistance. Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs with
or without assistance TRAVEL/SCHEDULE DEMANDS Must have reliable
transportation May need to attend training at off-site
locations.
