Job Description:
Cargill, a global leader in providing food, agriculture,
financial, and industrial products and services, is seeking a
dedicated Maintenance Lead to oversee our food processing
facilities maintenance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the
optimal functioning of our production equipment and systems to
support our commitment to nourish and sustain the global community.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned leader with a robust
understanding of mechanical systems and a passion for preventive
maintenance and efficiency enhancement. Oversee the daily
operations of the maintenance department, ensuring effective
performance of all mechanical systems. Develop and implement
maintenance strategies to increase plant efficiency and safety
while reducing operational costs. Lead, train, and manage a team of
maintenance technicians, promoting a culture of safety and
continuous improvement. Coordinate with other department leads to
schedule maintenance and minimize production downtime. Manage
maintenance budgets and procurement of necessary tools, parts, and
supplies. Monitor and enforce strict compliance with health,
safety, and environmental standards. Troubleshoot complex
mechanical issues and lead critical repairs. Implement and manage a
robust preventive and predictive maintenance program. Strong
leadership and organizational skills In-depth knowledge of
mechanical systems and HVAC Proficient in the use of maintenance
management software Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to
work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong communication and
