DevOps Engineer, LeadThe Opportunity:As a DevOps Engineer on our team, you'll translate your customers IT needs and future goals into a plan by crafting architecture products and design specifications, leading prototyping efforts, and working directly with the customer to help transform the way the customer's organization uses technology to enable the delivery of new mission and enterprise-level capabilities.You'll develop solution architectures (SA) and resolve complex issues in a variety of projects through the implementation of requirements analysis, expertise support, and project supervision. You'll apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts for platform automation, multi-cloud deployments, and providing services to enable successful delivery of mission systems. In this role, you'll work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions, operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.Join us. The world can't wait.You Have:10+ years of experience designing, developing, operationalizing, and maintaining complex cloud applications or platforms at scale3+ years of experience architecting solutions on AWS using cloud native services such as EKS, IAMS, Lambda, AutoScaling, or ECR2+ years of experience with UNIX and Linux, including basic commands and Shell scripting2+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code or Configuration as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible2+ years of experience with Docker and KubernetesExperience managing cloud costs at scaleAbility to supervise others and lead projects and deliverables within a collaborative, cross-functional team environmentTS/SCI clearance with a polygraphHS diploma or GEDAbility to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire dateNice If You Have:5+ years of experience with Agile engineering practicesExperience architecting solutions on Azure using cloud native services such as AKS, Azure Functions for serverless, or AutoScalingExperience implementing ITSM or IT Operations practicesAWS Certified Solutions Architect, Developer, or SysOps Associate CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allens total compensation package for employees.
