Job Description:

The Digital Modernization Sector has an opening for an Ansible DevOps Engineer to work in Woodlawn, MD.This position will require onsite work in Woodlawn, MD five days a week.Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement reliable automated architecture.
• Utilize Liquibase and DbFit for database releases.
• Utilize Linux configurations and system administration.
• Problem solve and troubleshoot when needed.
• All other duties as assigned or directed.Required Qualifications:These skills will help you succeed in this position:
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience OR Masters degree and 6+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted/accepted in lieu of degree.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust.
• Ability to effectively communicate information, both verbally and written to end users, team members and management.
• Strong experience with provisioning using Ansible.
• Expert knowledge of Liquibase and DbFit to automate release processes.
• Experience with Linux commands.
• Working knowledge of database query languages on Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL.
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Desired Qualifications:Showcase your knowledge of modern development through the following experience or skills:
• Strong background in AWS cloud and virtualization.
• Knowledge of the SDLC.
• Experience with Python and JavaScript.
