Leveraging a diverse mix of nuclear, fossil, wind, hydroelectric, and solar facilities, the Principal Engineer will play a crucial role in driving forward our initiatives in innovative energy solutions and operational excellence. This position requires deep technical expertise in energy systems, strong project management capabilities, and a strategic mindset to effectively enhance our service delivery across multiple states. Design, implement, and oversee energy generation projects across multiple platforms, including nuclear, wind, and solar. Lead cross-functional teams in the strategic planning and execution of complex engineering projects. Conduct high-level analysis and technical evaluations of plant operations to optimize efficiency and reliability. Drive innovations in energy systems and contribute to sustainability initiatives. Ensure compliance with environmental standards and government regulations. Provide mentoring and technical leadership within the engineering team. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to meet Exelon’s business goals and enhance customer service. Expertise in a variety of energy generation technologies (nuclear, fossil, solar, wind) Strong project management and leadership skills Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in regulatory compliance and environmental safety Excellent verbal and written communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k P.E.
