Markets Hiring: Philadelphia, PA, Dover, DE, Richmond, VA, Williamsburg, VA, Newport News, VA Salary Range: • $20 – $50 per hour (depending on experience) Benefits: • Paid Time Off • Medical • Retirement Experience & Education/Certification: • 1 year field experience repairing heavy construction equipment required • High school diploma, GED, or trade school preferred • Valid driver's license required • Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends Required Skills & Knowledge: • Knowledge of heavy construction machinery components including diesel engines, power transmissions, hydrostatic drives, and hydraulic systems • Diagnostic capabilities with hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems • Ability to make repair decisions quickly and rationally • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive material • Schedule work, recommend equipment downtime, and order parts as needed • Ability to give and receive written or oral instructions • Ability to work independently and safely • Basic skills in stick or MIG welding (or both) • Basic skills with OXY/Acetylene torch Here’s what you’ll be doing: • Repair and maintain production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation • Provide technical support to technicians or service personnel via phone, email, or on-site • Communicate effectively with field personnel and dispatch • Ensure quality repairs to minimize repeat work • Follow all governmental and company safety policies • Comply with Human Resources policies • Review tool requirements to improve efficiency • Report deficiencies to improve preventive maintenance programs • Participate in technical training and share knowledge with team members • Coordinate with dispatch and parts personnel for timely parts delivery • Collaborate with internal departments, field managers, and mechanics • Maintain required personal tools (company does not provide standard tools) • Keep service truck clean and organized • Comply with all Trimble/Telogis regulations
