Job Description:
Infosys is seeking a MRB/Liaison Stress Engineer primary
responsibility will be to translate software requirements into
working and maintainable solutions within the existing application
frameworks. The chosen candidate will apply technical proficiency
across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle,
gather accurate requirements and work closely with stakeholders to
prioritize tasks and the scope of development. The role will
require strong attention to detail with the ability to identify
errors and make adjustments in a testing environment while
contributing towards developing and adhering to best practices for
developing applications that are scalable, relevant, and critical
to the project. Required Qualifications: Candidate must be located
within commuting distance of Baltimore, MD or be willing to
relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project
locations Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an
accredited institution. Will also consider three years of
progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of
Experience Strong background in structural analysis and mechanics
of materials. Proficiency in FEA software and stress calculation
methods. Understanding of aerospace materials (composites, alloys)
and standard Analyze Non-Conformances: Review manufacturing defects
or damage (e.g., oversized holes, cracks, corrosion) on metallic
and composite parts. Perform Stress Analysis: Conduct structural
analysis (hand calcs, Finite Element Analysis - FEA) to verify
proposed repairs or acceptances. Provide Dispositions: Determine
appropriate actions for non-conforming parts (accept as is, repair,
rework, scrap). Collaborate: Work with design, quality,
manufacturing, and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) teams. Document:
Prepare technical reports and strength check notes for formal
approval. Support Production: Expedite resolutions for critical AOG
(Aircraft on Ground) issues. Represent MRB Engineering in Material
Review Boards (MRBs) and ensure timely resolution of
nonconformances to minimize production disruptions Experience with
Stress Justification Reports or structural substantiation.

and standards Dedicated Aerospace MRB experience of at least 5 yrs
of experience Experience in metallic and Composites structural
analysis Experience in Load, stress calculations and preparing
technical reports Experience in Finite Element Analysis tools
(Nastran, Patran) Experience in static, fatigue and damage
tolerance calculations Strong oral and written communication skills
Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards Experienced in
PATRAN, NASTRAN, FEMAP Experience in CATIA V5, Enovia Strong oral
and written communication and interpersonal skills. Along with
