Arlo Hotels is seeking a dynamic Director of Front OfficeArlo
Hotels, an independent lifestyle hotel, is now actively seeking a
passionate and driven Director of Front Office. If you are

responsible for the daily operation of the front desk and liaising
with all areas impacting guest service. The role involves planning,
directing, and coordinating activities to ensure exceptional
service, providing operational support, training, motivating, and
recognizing team members. The Director exercises independent
judgment and initiative in carrying out
responsibilities.Responsibilities and Authorities:
- Always treats guests with courtesy and respect in all
situations.
- Displays honesty and integrity.
- Acts as an inspirational leader, motivating team members to
serve others and seek opportunities for improvement.
- Oversees the Front Office Department, including Bell Persons,
Lobby Hosts, and Assistant Front Office Managers.
- Conducts pre-shift meetings and communicates effectively
through development reviews, training, departmental orientation,
and meetings.
- Motivates and develops team members.
- Maximizes room sales, revenue, and profit.
- Delivers outstanding service to create memorable guest
experiences.Specific Duties:
- Leads and supervises operational activities within hotel
guidelines to provide courteous service while maintaining profit
margins.
- Embraces and embodies Arlo's core values and culture.
- Assigns, coordinates, and supervises work activities of Lobby
Hosts and Bellmen.
- Trains, mentors, and develops team members; manages schedules,
payroll, and monitors labor costs.
- Ensures completion of shift closings, room deposits, refunds,
and rebates, with all paperwork properly completed.
- Conducts annual performance reviews.
- Responds promptly to emergency situations, completes incident
reports, and follows up with guests and staff.
- Manages same-day room inventory and rate yielding.
- Corrects service problems proactively to create memorable guest
experiences.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of
Operations.Requirements:
- Education: Any combination of education and experience
providing the required skills and knowledge is acceptable. A
Hospitality Diploma or Degree is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a management position.
- Knowledge: Hospitality or customer service experience, Opera &
PBX systems familiarity.
