Job Description:
Provides high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department
for all age groups, ensuring adherence to standards and ongoing
education.
Develops and manages departmental budgets, promotes cost-effective
practices, and oversees staffing and resource utilization.
Leads emergency preparedness and safety programs, participates in
hospital committees, and ensures compliance with OSHA and
regulatory requirements.
Supervises nursing and ancillary staff, maintains policies and
procedures, and monitors quality indicators and performance
data.
Facilitates staff development, evaluations, and ongoing education,
including mock codes and community education initiatives.
Acts as a liaison with ambulance services, manages staff schedules,
and supports hospital emergency response plans.
Requires a BSN, PA or ACLS/PALS certifications, and relevant
clinical and management experience.
