In addition, full-time employees receive paid time off, sick hours, holiday pay and may elect to enroll in medical, dental, vision, HRA, medical/dependent care FSA, short-term/long term disability, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity and life insurance.*Job Duties:** Conducts initial and ongoing assessments of the patients clinical and functional limitations, environmental safety, and adaptive equipment use* Conducts home visits as prescribed schedule to meet patient needs* Determines need for referral to additional services* Completes COTA supervisory visits per agency policy/Medicare regulations* Develops the Plan of Care for therapy interventions based on assessment findings which include ADL and IADL functioning* Develops realistic, individualized patient therapy goals* Conducts ongoing review of the Plan of Care and makes revisions as patient condition warrants* Accurately documents interventions and findings from each home visit in timeframe required by agency policy* Communicates changes in the patients condition to the physician, others as appropriate* Ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of the patient*Qualifications:** Bachelor degree, required from accredited college/university* Master degree, preferred* Prior experience in home care preferred* 3-5 years of experience* Current Maryland state Occupational Therapist License* Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare provider_HomeCare Maryland is an equal opportunity employer_Job Types: Full-time, PRNPay: From $96,720.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Disability insurance* Employee assistance program* Flexible spending account* Health insurance* Life insurance* Mileage reimbursement* Paid time off* Vision insuranceSchedule:* Monday to FridayExperience:* Occupational Therapist: 3 years (Preferred)* home care: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:* Occupational Therapy License (Required)* CPR Certification (Required)Work Location: On the roadby Jobble
