Pay Information $2,279 per week About The Position Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Duration: 12 Weeks Shift: Rotating 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 / 19:00 - 07:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required; will accept first-time travelers with CVICU experience. License: Active Registered Nurse license required. Certifications: BLS, CPI, NIH, and ACLS required; OCN and TCNN preferred. Must-Have: Must float to Medical Surgical ICU as needed. Description: CVICU Registered Nurse position available. Rotating shifts for a total of 36 hours per week. Will accept straight night shifts. Common patient diagnoses include post-operative cardiac surgery and structural heart procedures. Manage patients receiving inotropic medications and experiencing hemodynamic instability. Engage in active management of cardiac output and extreme coagulopathy cases. Experience with open chest patients and complex procedures such as ECMO and CRRT is preferred. Floating may be required based on unit needs. Weekends and holidays are required as scheduled. Candidate must be comfortable floating within the hospital with no restrictions. References from recent employers will be required.
