Radiation Therapist Location: Washington, DC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,720 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiation Therapist Specialty: Radiation Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Experience: 1 year License: Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certifications: Current CPR Certification required Must-Have: Completion of high school/GED or completion of college Description: Prepares and applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instruction of the Radiation Oncologist. Works under the general supervision of the Manager and Lead Therapist. Operates all Radiation Oncology-related equipment, including CT simulator, linear accelerator, QA dosimeters, diode system, and various computer equipment. Accurately delivers the prescribed planned course of radiation therapy according to departmental protocols and established practices and standards with minimum supervision.
