Shifts and Coverage: Patient Load: Expect to see 10-15 patients per shift, providing comprehensive gastroenterological care. Holidays: Coverage is required for major holidays, including New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Requirements: Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Gastroenterology. Fellowship: Completion of a Gastroenterology fellowship is required. Certifications: ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory. Licensing: Must be licensed in Maryland or hold an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license. Reimbursement for licensing costs is available. Privileges: Hospital or surgery center privileges are required, with temporary privileges available to expedite the process.
