Emergency Services Tech to join our dynamic Emergency Services
Department. This position offers a crucial role in providing rapid,
effective, and compassionate emergency care to patients in acute
settings. You will work closely with a team of skilled healthcare
professionals to deliver patient-first health care, adhering to our
commitment to quality and community service. Whether handling
medical emergencies or assisting in patient recovery, your
contribution will be imperative in maintaining the high standards
MedStar Health is known for and ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Assist in the stabilization and treatment of acute trauma patients.
Operate emergency equipment and instruments, such as defibrillators
and monitors. Support emergency room doctors and nurses during
diagnostic procedures and treatments. Document patient information
and vital signs. Prepare patients for emergency surgery as
required. Maintain cleanliness and order of the emergency services
area. Provide emotional support and essential information to
patients and their families. Ability to work effectively in
high-stress environments Strong communication and interpersonal
skills Proficient in basic life support techniques Experience with
medical equipment typically used in emergency settings Certified
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
