Job Description:
As part of MedStar Health, a leading non-profit healthcare
provider, the RN Clinical Administrator / House Supervisor will
oversee nursing activities and operations during assigned shifts.
This position ensures the delivery of outstanding patient care
while maintaining compliance with regulatory nursing requirements.
The individual will act as a key leader, influencing service
delivery standards and staff development across multiple
departments. Coordinate patient care across various departments.
Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines.
Manage staffing and scheduling of nurses. Act as the primary
administrative authority during evening, night, and weekend shifts.
Handle emergencies effectively, coordinating with the necessary
departments and ensuring a timely response. Facilitate effective
communication between shifts and among healthcare team members.
Implement and evaluate policies to improve patient outcomes.
Leadership and administrative competence in healthcare settings.
Proficient in nursing operations and emergency management. Ability
to work effectively under pressure. Excellent problem-solving and
decision-making skills. Strong communication and interpersonal
skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid
RN license in the state of practice. BLS/ACLS certified. Preferably
certified in Nursing Administration or a related field.
