ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Alexandria, Virginia. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - IR Job Details: • Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with on-call rotation • After-hours and weekend on-call rotation with 6 other RNs • Must respond within 30 minutes while on call • Weekend and weekday coverage provided by on-call staff • Holiday expectations include 1 major and/or minor holiday • No floating expectations • Work in 2 IR suites handling average of 4-6 cases per day • All cases completed in lab using EPIC EMR system with Cupid module • Maroon scrubs provided by facility • 1 week unit orientation required • Must be proficient with IVs and have critical care experience • Minimum 1 year equivalent experience required in Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Interventional Radiology, or Intensive Care • Emergency Department and Progressive Cardiac Care experience also considered • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS certification • Virginia RN licensure required • Must be graduate of accredited school of nursing • Treat young/middle adults (18-45), older adults (45-60), and geriatric patients (60) • Common procedures include peripheral angios, endovascular repair, PICCs, Para/Thora, and embolizations • Basic IR procedures only - no neuro or cardiac procedures performed Facility: This healthcare facility features a specialized Interventional Radiology department with 2 modern IR suites designed to provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient interventional procedures.
