available for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong
background in Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing. This
contract position offers the chance to provide high-level care to
patients with complex cardiac and respiratory needs, using your
specialized skills in cardiac monitoring, drip titration, and
critical patient assessment. Location This role is based in New
Cumberland, WV, a community that blends small-town charm with

supportive local resources. Responsibilities: Deliver exceptional
nursing care to patients with cardiac conditions, post-pneumonia
recovery, post-catheterization, seizures, and other complex
diagnoses. Monitor and titrate drips, including Cardizem,
Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Angiomax.
Interpret telemetry strips, print measurements, and identify
cardiac rhythms. Collaborate with 24/7 in-house hospitalists,
intensivists, respiratory therapists, and monitor technicians to
ensure comprehensive patient care. Assist with activities of daily
living (ADLs), vital signs monitoring, bathing, toileting, feeding,
and blood sugar checks. Support unit operations with adherence to
nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-6 based on patient acuity.
Participate in scheduling with a self-scheduling option for 7 a.m.
to 7 p.m. shifts on a 4-week rotating schedule. Qualifications and
Desired Experience: Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years
Stepdown/PCU experience. Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Proficient in cardiac monitoring and comfortable managing multiple
titratable drips. Ability to troubleshoot respiratory equipment and
work with respiratory therapists. Strong patient assessment,
critical thinking, and communication skills. Additional
Information: Navy blue scrubs required. Orientation includes 2
general days and 1 precepted day. Evening and holiday rotations may
be required. Floating may be necessary; travelers have priority for
