Registered Nurse (RN) | Pediatric Med/Surg Location: Baltimore, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,289 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/6/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Peds Med/Surg RN in Baltimore, Maryland, 21209! Job Title: Pediatric Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of pediatric experience required; first-time travelers accepted License: Active RN state license Certifications: BLS, CPI; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Experience with pediatrics, trach, and ventilator management Description: Seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse for an alternating day/night position. The role involves caring for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients. Patient diagnoses include prematurity, cardiac defects, feeding issues, and withdrawal syndrome. The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:3, or up to 4 with lower acuity patients. Special equipment utilized includes tracheostomy devices, ventilators, and TPN. Every other weekend and holiday work is required as scheduled. Travelers must float within designated units as necessary. Experience with pediatric step-down care and ventilator management is essential. Must possess skills such as pediatric dosage calculations and central line management. Candidates should have proficiency in infection prevention and wound care. CPI certification is required, and travelers must obtain labs within a specified timeframe. References from recent employers are necessary for application consideration. Candidates must live 50 miles or more from the facility. Travelers must be comfortable floating within their experience scope. Prior employment with the health system must meet specific criteria for eligibility.
