CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Virtualization Specialist to architect and operate DCVI—owning VMware (ESXi/VCF/Horizon), Hyper V, storage/network integrations, and enterprise hardening. This position is located in Baltimore, MD Your future duties and responsibilities: . Design multi cluster ESXi/VCF architectures . Manage vCenter/SSO/Aria Ops & Automation . Implement Horizon at scale. . Lead Hyper V deployments on Windows Server 2022/2025; implement backup/DR (e.g., Veritas) and PowerShell automation. . Deliver configuration docs/diagrams; run incident/change processes in ServiceNow. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance . Bachelor's degree 14 years of relevant IT experience . Expert VMware stack & Hyper V; Dell server/iDRAC; EMC storage; PowerShell. . Security hardening aligned to STIG/NIST/FISMA. Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required: . Experience with VDI at federal scale . Experience with lab validation processes for firmware/patches. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 - $156,700.00.
