Space Systems Engineer LOCATION Annapolis Junction, MD 20701
CLEARANCE TS/SCI Full Poly (Please note this position requires full
U.S. Citizenship) KEY SUMMARY We are seeking a highly skilled and
innovative Space Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute
to the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge space
systems. In this role, you will work on the development of
spacecraft and satellite systems, ensuring their functionality,
performance, and reliability for space missions. You will
collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyze requirements,
design system architectures, perform simulations, and oversee the
integration and testing of space systems. The ideal candidate has a
strong technical foundation, is passionate about space technology,

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, and integrate space
systems Analyze and define system requirements for space missions
Ensure performance and reliability of spacecraft systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
Perform simulations and modeling for space systems Manage
integration and testing of space systems REQUIRED SKILLS
Proficiency in spacecraft systems engineering Experience with
spacecraft systems integration Strong understanding of space
mission design and analysis Knowledge of orbital mechanics
Familiarity with satellite subsystems (e.g., propulsion, power,
thermal) Proficiency in CAD software for system design DESIRED
SKILLS Experience with satellite communication systems Familiarity
with space mission planning software Knowledge of space system
testing and qualification processes Understanding of space
environment effects on systems Proficiency in data analysis and
simulation tools Experience with cloud-based modeling and analysis
