Job Description:
Join our dynamic legal team at Amazon Web Services and become a
pivotal force in shaping innovative technology! You'll be at the
forefront of supporting our global logistics operations, providing
critical legal guidance that advances our global supply chain. You
will be responsible for independently and effectively solving a
broad range of commercial and regulatory issues, and for
structuring, drafting, and negotiating commercial agreements. You
will work directly with the business, serving as lead counsel on
strategic logistics projects, providing day-to-day legal advice,
resolving issues that arise in existing commercial relationships,
addressing regulatory questions, and handling pre-litigation
disputes and inquiries. You will develop strategies for handling
legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and you will build
processes that address risk and allows the business flexibility and
freedom to move quickly. Key job responsibilities - Providing legal
guidance and support for new projects in the transportation,
logistics and supply chain operations spaces - Drafting and
assisting the business to negotiate complex commercial agreements -
Legal research on commercial and regulatory legal issues -
Providing regulatory guidance on issues in the transportation and
logistics space - Creating and implementing legal simplification
efforts to streamline legal review processes A day in the life The
role involves working directly with business units and
cross-functional teams across AWS and other parts of Amazon. The
successful candidate will provide strategic input on legal and
business decisions, navigate complex regulatory environments, and
develop problem solving solutions. This position plays a crucial
role in supporting AWS globally and requires a talented and
motivated individual capable of managing a broad range of matters,
in a rapidly evolving business landscape. About the team This role
will give the successful candidate an opportunity to join a

history. Some travel, domestic and international, will be required.
- 2 years of legal experience - Juris Doctor and membership in one
state bar or equivalent - Experience effectively communicating
complex concepts through written and verbal communication -
Experience in transactional work, including drafting and
negotiating commercial contracts or equivalent - Experience of a
mix of corporate law firm and in-house work - Experience working
proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on
projects and tasks - Experience in Global Logistics Law -
Experience analyzing and reviewing statutes, regulations, and case
law and then extracting data to make appropriate recommendations -
Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any
given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines, or experience
in a fast-paced, high-tech company - Ability to provide practical
and business-oriented legal advice in a fast-paced environment,

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
