  • Verify patient identity and medical history prior to the scan.
  • Explain CT procedures to patients to ensure comfort, understanding, and cooperation.
  • Position patients accurately on the CT table to obtain optimal imaging.
  • Assess for contraindications (e.g., allergies to contrast media, pregnancy, renal function).2. Imaging Procedures
    • Perform CT scans as ordered by physicians, including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, and angiographic studies.
    • Adjust scan parameters and protocols based on the patient's condition and diagnostic requirements.3. Contrast Media Administration
      • Prepare and administer IV contrast agents safely under established protocols.
      • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and be prepared to initiate emergency response if necessary.
      • Maintain IV access and ensure proper hydration post-contrast when appropriate.
