General Summary of Position
Medstar Health is looking for -a -Diagnostic Technologist -to join -our -team! This position is part-time 10 hours per week. Sends images to -appropriate destinations -for interpretation. -Maintains orderliness and cleanliness of work areas. Reports any unsafe or potentially unsafe conditions. Maintains X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order. -Performs preventative maintenance regularly.Obtains patient history, answers patient questions, and explains procedures. -Transports patients to radiographic room and prepares and -maintains -room.Performs radiographic examinations. -Prepareswritten -documentation such -as evaluation results, individualized treatment plans, and progress reports. -Requests and will order -supplies. -Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED.Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in the State of Maryland.Basic Life Support (BLS).Associate degree -preferred. -
