services landscape, seeks an experienced Senior Air Force Business
Development Director to expand our defense and aerospace sector.
This strategic role involves leading our efforts to partner with
Air Force clients, leveraging our strengths in data analytics,
cloud services, and digital transformation solutions to meet their
operational goals. The successful candidate will be adept at
navigating the complex ecosystems of defense contracts, fostering
long-term relationships with key Air Force stakeholders, and
aligning our technology innovations with government needs to secure
significant contracts. Develop and execute strategic business
development plans specifically for Air Force contracts. Identify
and capitalize on new business opportunities within the defense and
aerospace sector to increase market penetration. Build and maintain
high-level contacts with current and prospective Air Force clients
and other key government entities. Coordinate with technical and
project management teams to ensure alignment of business goals with
technological capabilities and delivery. Lead proposal development
efforts, ensure compliance with government procurement regulations,
and oversee submission processes. Monitor market trends and
competitor activities to adjust strategies accordingly. Attend and
represent Vantor, Inc. at industry conferences, seminars, and other
networking events. Proven ability in business development and
strategic planning within the defense sector. Strong understanding
of military procurement, defense contracting, and federal
acquisition processes. Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills, capable of fostering lasting relationships with a variety
of stakeholders. Strategic thinker with a proven track record of
identifying and closing high-value contracts. Ability to manage
complex projects and multi-disciplinary teams in a high-stakes
environment. 401k PMP Certification (Project Management
Professional) Certification in Federal Contract Management (CFCM)
or equivalent is highly desirable.
