forward and build the future. Oncology Strategy, Business
Development & Alliances (SBDA) Team Our team sits at the center of
Oncology R&D – driving our R&D strategy and addressing the
unmet needs and future focus of AstraZeneca’s oncology pipeline. We
operate both internally and externally, leading collaboration and
acquisition opportunities as well as partnering closely with
external alliances. Responsibilities: In this role you will report
to VP, Oncology Strategy and be accountable for the development of
an integrated end-to-end Antibody Drug Conjugate strategy as a key
part of our Therapeutic Area Strategy. What you will do: Apply your
pre-clinical and clinical understanding of Antibody Drug Conjugates
to ensure AstraZeneca remains at the forefront of ADC leadership
Develop and implement future proof strategies that incorporate the
latest insights and knowledge Integrate ADC strategy with specific
tumor strategies, providing a vision for both the near and longer
term Contribute to the development of an integrated clinical
strategy across all ADC assets through data driven, actionable
insights that advance our industry leading portfolio Collaborate
closely with Competitive Intelligence on emerging science and
technology to ensure a highly competitive early pipeline and
long-term portfolio Help drive and integrate above-asset
initiatives and strategies (e.g. Translational Medicine, Precision
Medicine, Data Sciences, Artificial Intelligence etc.) How you will
operate Develop clear strategic framework / structure to guide
teams through complex strategies Lead and collaborate with
cross-functional teams to develop discovery, early oncology and
tumor strategy content (e.g., GPTs, Clinical Development,
Discovery, BD, Lifecycle and Pipeline, Competitive Intelligence)
Provide strategic guidance to Global Heads of Tumour Targeted
Delivery, Early Oncology and Late Development in addition to other
senior leaders Basic Qualifications: BA/BS and 10 years of
experience in life sciences or consulting firm with focus in life
science programs OR MS/MBA and 8 years of experience in life
sciences or consulting firm with focus in life science programs OR
PhD or MD and 5 of experience in life sciences or consulting firm
with focus in life science programs Ability to interact and
communicate effectively with senior executive teams. Demonstrated
ability to lead and influence experienced professionals. Ability to
think critically, creatively and to anticipate and solve problems.
Ability to navigate and be successful in a fast-paced,
highly-matrixed work environment Preferred Qualifications: Strong
analytical and communication skills Effective interpersonal and
relationship management skills with consultative approach and
ability to interact and build trust Operational effectiveness,
highly organized process with follow through Strong initiative to
understand our core business goals and establish processes or
programs to set direction, generate alignment and push forward
Financial background and understanding of forecasts, budgets,
financial activities and tools Resourceful, motivated, influential
and proactive; able to prioritize in a fast-growing organization
Experience in strategic planning processes and tools Scientific
background Understanding of the pharmaceutical business (including
R&D) Experience in translating business needs into a
coordinated plan from cross-functional senior leadership team
Ability to develop creative and simple solutions to complex

for this position ranges from 270,000 to 405,000 USD. Base pay
offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors,
including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and
experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive
bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based
long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a
retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment
eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified

leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug,
dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and
